A Dad's trust

Bryan was playing with Mason last night and decided to be a dareing himself. Oh the trust of a Dad.

Mason likes to "play" golf or baseball with his blocks at night. We stack them up and he knocks them down with just about any object he can find. Examples being: wooden spoons (video), toy saws, his toy bat, balls, cars, really just about anything! He thinks it's the coolest thing ever.

This one is for my Auntie Ashley

Ashley--does this remind you of anything!?
Mason kept chasing them around and growling at the dogs. He was in seventh heaven!

For those of you who don't' know what I'm talking about. Ashley (Bryan's little sister) used to chase their cat around with an old toy but instead of growling she would say "stupid kitty" while pinning it in the corner. We thought this was Mason own version of that. I thought it was funny that he wouldn't roll the toy toward them but pick it up and chase them with it. Strange little boy.

A day in the life of a 16 mon. old

Curiosity doesn't always kill the cat but it sure can tick her off! :)

We went over to my parents house to check up on things on Monday while they were out of town and Mason found the cat. He LOVES the cat. He was watching her while she was eating and she didn't like that so she came over above me and Mason came running to watch. He reached up and the cat felt threatened so she struck. She attached to the top of his head so naturally he moved back but that just pulled her off the couch and that wasn't a good thing. She just went to town on his face and arm. It was sad and scary. Later on that night he slipped on a rug and slammed his chin into the mane on a plastic horse and sliced his chin open. He was definitely having a rough day. By the end of the day, needless to say, he was ready for bed. Oh the day in the life of a 16 month old, very curious and active boy.

How to entertain a 16 month old!

The results of sugar. What are Grandpa's for?!
This was our Wednesday evening! I love to listen to Mason laugh, especially when he gets really going! It's so contagious. G-Pa Dean had given Mason a little sugar and he was running it off, literally and found a cup so he had to play with it with Daddy. We don't know why this was so hilarious to him but it sure was funny. Sometimes you just gotta laugh at the little things in life. :) I love my boys!

Our Weekend!

Mason and I went to my parents yesterday, again, so that I could work on Emily's quilt some more. Grandpa Howarth (my Dad) and Uncle Dan (my brother) were working on moving things around upstairs so that my parents could remodel their room. They had a dolly to help move the big things and Mason was OBSESSED with it! It took a while to be able to get him to get on it but he LOVED it once we got him there. Here are some pictures of it and a little video that I LOVE! (At the bottom)

On Sunday we had a rainy day. It was POURING! And on top of that it was so windy! Well actually, I should say, we had almost everything today. Rain, wind, hail, snow. It was crazy but we loved it. I miss this! Mason LOVED it. Every time he heard the rain and wind he RAN to the window! It was kinda cute so I snapped some photos of him at the window. It was hard cause we had just been able to get outside with our new "outside" toys and he was loving that and now we have to be inside all day! I think he was going through a little outside withdrawal. It was hard but at least he was able to watch what was going on out there. The really funny thing was that if though it were raining he still would of had a blast playing in it--if we would have let him. :)

Mason's afternoon!

We went to Grandma and Grandpa Howarth's this afternoon and Mason got so tired from all the playing that he passed out on Daddy. It was so cute we had to get a picture of it!

Yesterday!

LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!
This is what we did yesterday. It snowed and Mason had to watch it everytime! He's was just amazed! We went out in it a couple of times and he just kept putting his face up towards the sky, blink, and laugh! It was fun!

BTW: he sat in some water--hence the spot on his butt! I didn't even notice it until I took the picture!!!!
